After sitting during the work week, my 84' CC (351 PMC, Holley) wouldn't start without a shot of carb cleaner/ether. After the initial start it would start easy and reliably all weekend afterwards. But always the same problem the next week.
I found the vent tube accidentally came in contact with the exhaust and melted it shut. I replaced the tube rerouting it from harms reach, but the hard starting at first shot remains. Could I have damaged the pump? Or is it more likely a choke problem/vacuum leak?
A government strong enough to give everything you want, is strong enough to take it all away.
